Xubuntu question

One alternative is to get the Ubuntu install, and follow the 
instructions here: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/purexfce to remove 
gnome and use xubuntu.
Another option is to use the Internet Installer or any of the other 
alternative instalation choices found : 
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/
