Sure I can help you out code-wise! Just PM me when help is needed...

About the design/css/theming stuff: we at Madcap[1] have a couple of 
very skilled Drupal designers/theming guys that really can do 
miracles[2], but they are 100% booked for large projects at the moment.

Tomorrow I'll ask if my boss would be so kind to clean up their agenda's 
a bit and dedicate a few hours to Xubuntu...
