[Bug 224444] [NEW] Xubuntu: screensaver or screen lock never kicks in

where it kicks in after a timeout and locks the screen when accessing
via VNC client.

I dont know if this is related to this 'admin' thin-client issue mentioned here where certain admin functionality in Xubuntu is not available to anyone but the local display user:
