How can I install fcron together with xubuntu-desktop?

Gentlemen, gentlewomen,

I like Fcron[1]. Is there a way to install Fcron without losing the 
Xubuntu meta package?

Fcron conflicts with Anacron, and Anacron is a hard dependency of 
Xubuntu-desktop.

Can't Xubuntu-desktop have a (Fcron OR Anacron) dependency?
