I forgot to say that I also like Thunderbird's internal adaptive spam 
filter...

Great! Claws mail is a very promising email client and Thunderbird is 
somewhat treated as a black sheep in the Mozilla family, it just doesn't 
get enough attention compared to FireFox...

Claws is a full featured email client already, but it just misses the 
'extra' features (not necessary liked nor used by all)
* HTML integration (compose & (default)display)
* Integrated, easy to configure spam filter
* Somewhat 'blend' artwork and widgets

If these features are to be implemented, I predict a great future for 
Claws Mail...
