Wow, this is turning into a big mud-slinging free-for-all. Are Jani and
Guiseppe the only two people subscribed to this list? Seems that way
sometimes.
Xarchiver has its issues, but if it's really so bad, then why do most
Xfce-based distros package it by default? Even Zenwalk, which has a rather
high standard when it comes to packaging apps by default, packages Xarchiver
by default.

have problems with Xarchiver. I really don't think it's as bad as Jani
claims.
By the same token, obviously Guiseppe needs to be open to bug reports and
usability suggestions. He's obviously still working on Xarchiver, so
hopefully improvements are forthcoming.
