Hi all,
While i completely agree with Radomir has said I also like what
others have been doing. While I suppose I have next to bleeding edge
as on ubuntu/xubuntu 7.10 with all updates (the bleeding edge i guess
would be checking out from brz. head, compiling it & hoping nothing
breaks). i use it to test both the distros. on the same comp. as have
quite a few friends & customers who use either WM and I love both
while being partial a bit to xubuntu or XFCE.
Some observations from my limited experience with xubuntu :-
I started using xubuntu since 7.04 & while it was good, I do like the
new theme you guys have done so far , the steel-greyish -soft sky
bluish kinda theme you have got going , its easier on the eyes & also
cool to look at. No in your face kinda-look thank you.
While I have no clue about what which color or which combinations of
colors in palette would look good as far as it looks asthetic &
pleasing on the eyes I would be hooked, as it is I'm hooked on this
one.
How you guys would design a CD cover with this theme though is beyond
me, but then I'm not that color-imaginative either.
I do also like the idea of having some concept art. One of the things
which could be thought about perhaps is using openclipart.org if that
is something the community might look forward to?
http://openclipart.org/wiki/Contests
I dunno if its feasible or not but the thought just came.
Anyway best of luck to all, cheers :)
