Late yesterday, I emailed the guy from ubuntuguide.org asking this question.  No response yet, but I think this is a good idea.   He has some other guides on the site (Fedora, Mandriva), so I think it might be approprate.  Once I hear back, I'll post the response here in case it helps to drive to a decision/direction.

Re: wiki software...I don't have a preference.  My host had a Fantastico install for TikiWiki, so that is what is out there for now.  MediaWiki is fine with me.  Like I said, I'm trying to get out of being an admin, so its you guys that have to like the software :)
