No, this was an accident :) . Since gnetswitch is not after all good enough
for default install
mainly because it does not use /e/n/interfaces but has it's own file format
I thought of taking
a look at the network config from gnome system tools. And those tools have a
user admin too
so why not make those work without gnome libs as well? Too bad it is a a bit
of duplication but it
is still a lot less than if it were  written from scratch. And likely less
buggy.
