Yes.  Bug #36256 is about gnome-panel crashing, and the engine making 
gtk+ apps look ungood.

GTK-Qt Theme Engine
The GTK-Qt Theme Engine is a project allowing GTK to use Qt wiki:/widget 
<http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software_2fgtk_2dqt_2fwidget> styles.
It behaves like a normal GTK theme engine, but calls functions from Qt 
instead of doing the drawing itself.
