> I'm glad to hear someone is using it on a slow computer. My whole interest in Xubuntu is because I still use a PentiumII at home with gnome Ubuntu. To gain speed I downloaded the Xfce4 package manualy with Ubuntu package update in 5.04 and been tracking progess on the Xubuntu development.
The computer I'm working on now is a PII 233 MHz. It's not too bad of
a computer. It's a shame so many people just throw them away.

If you already have Ubuntu installed:
apt-get update
apt-get install xubuntu-desktop
> and 2/ How with Xfce4 on 5.04 I can activate it as default GUI
In GDM (the login screen), choose "session" and select Xfce4, then log
in. It should ask you if just for this session, or permanantly.
Hope that helps!
