Upstart and Libnih trunk sources to TAR - how to?

I'll try it.

I am a little confused about doing configure before doing make dist to
produce a distro.

Coz, when I get the upstart 0.3.9 distro tar file. I have to untar it
and run .configure and then did the make operation.
