Reloading job files...

Hello all,

I've noticed this: when I change a job file, upstart doesn't always gets
notified of the change. To test this, I open a job file and add some
unknown stanza, e.g. foobar. Upstart is supposed to get this and display a
message like init:jobfilename:5: unknown stanza. However, it doesn't
always do that. In fact, most of the times I must do kill -TERM 1 to force
upstart to re-read its job files. However, this is not something I want to
do in a running system, since after the kill, upstart will lose
supervision of already started services. Btw, shouldn't a SIGHUP signal
result to a reloading of job files?

thank you in advance

Alex
