In the python script attached, using mayavi2 via mlab, a sphere should be drawn (like screenshot1.png).

But when you run this script with visual effects on, it only draws a empty window at first (see screenshot2.png). (With visual effects off, it works fine) Then, when you click the 'button' of this window on the bottom gnome panel to hide it and click again to show it, the drawing (the sphere in this case) appear!! (see screenshot1.png)
