[Bug 381014] [NEW] Add/Remove Applications freezes on opening

Binary package hint: padevchooser

I'm not familiar with the meaning if "Packages", so i'm clueless which
to select. My set-up: distribution is 9.04. When I open Add/Remove
Applications, it NEARLY EVERY TIME, freezes. The only action that works
is to force a quit. This problem did not occur with the previous
distribution. Also, I have had to re-install 9.04 at least four times
because of "something" that I thought the only solution was to re-
install. There have been no changes to my hardware, so, unless my
hardware is deteriorating, I've concluded it's a software problem.
