** Summary changed:

- Dual Monitor setup does not function
+ [i865] Dual Monitor setup does not function

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

After configuring Ubuntu to use both of my monitors, I am asked to log
out. When I log out, I get just a brown gradient (default background)
and the mouse on *both* screens. Though I'm never presented with a login
prompt, I can type in my username and password. If I do so, it clearly
goes through some portion of the login process as the background changes
slightly. After a few (20?) seconds, both monitors just display white
with some random blue lines. Then I have to reboot into recovery mode
and rebuild xserve in order to get back to where I started.
