Good point, although such kind of deviation would not need to be rebased next
time we resync.

I've been using it in production on sunjammer.sugarlabs.org for 3 days.
So far, no problems.

Setting it up was troublesome for me because I was trying to use a wildcard certificate
on the client, which is unsupported, and an RSA-MD5 certificate on the server side,
which GnuTLS considers insecure.  The server side was Fedora, with a different version
of rsyslog, which made things even more interesting to debug :-)
