I can confirm on my athlon xp 2500+ box - these errors on latest version from sourceforge (0.10cvs6) w/ rte & zvbi. Different errors (reported elsewhere since at least Dapper, "Cannot start video overlay.
zapping_setup_fb failed.", "Cannot start capturing: Function not supported by the module", "Cannot restore previous mode: Function not supported by the module") occur w/ the version in the repos. This seems to be a common problem, has anyone actually gotten Zapping to work in Ubuntu? My card (bt878) works w/ tvtime as well. Crappy onboard SiS 741 video output, no proprietary drivers in use. Am I missing something silly here?
