** Summary changed:

- Provide a way to respawn an iTalc client in case it crashes
+ ivs crashes randomly during usage on LTSP

** Description changed:

- Scenario : during class, iTacl (ica) crashes on a few thin/fat clients.
- The teacher, unknowledgeable of the command line, asks the pupils to
- restart the machine. Pupils and teachers both looses several minutes of
- class time to do so.
+ During standard usage in classroom, IVS (iTalc VNC Server) tends to
+ crash on thin clients though ISD (iTalc Service Daemon) is still alive
+ making part of the actions to still work and some other to fail.

- To avoid such as scenario, would it be possible to provide a way to the
- teacher to respawn crashed ica clients from the iTacl master interface?
- Or maybe implement more robustness on the ica client side so it can
- respawn itself automatically?
+ ICA should detect cases where the VNC server is dead (by looking at
+ SIGCLD for example) and if so, respawn it (ideally the VNc server
+ shouldn't crash but well ...).
+
+ There is currently no easy way to reproduce the bug if someone knows a
+ way to trigger it easily, please provide it.
