[Bug 330343] [NEW] webcam stops working in the middle of a session

I apologize if this is the wrong spot for this.  I'm not sure where to put it.
While in skype and in the middle of a video call the webcam stops working.  The little blue light goes out, video stops, microphone stops.  It always happens, but the amount of time varies.  1-20 minutes.  No errors in /var/log/syslog.  Work around is to quit skype, unplug webcam, plug in webcam, start skype.  

OS: Ubuntu Intrepid
webcam: ID 046d:09c1 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks
skype: 2.0.0.72
HW: Acer aspire 5315-2077

I realize that I don't have enough info to determine if this is a
library, kernel, or skype.  Pls direct me and I'll gather whatever data
needed to determine such.
