"Team", Ha!  Mate, I'm just one Australian bloke making a TV application
that his wife can use.

What I want to know is why kaffeine worked?  Were you using the
GStreamer engine in kaffeine?  The 0.7 development branch of Me TV can
optionally use GStreamer, libvlc, xine-lib, xine, MPlayer if you want to
compile those options in.
