Yes, I have tried "auto" and it didn't worked either but eventually, i got it solved :
I forgot to add the lines below in my xorg.conf :
	Option	    "VideoOverlay" "on"
	Option	    "OpenGLOverlay" "off"
	Option	    "TexturedVideo" "on"
... which definitely solved the issue. 
Sorry for the useless bug post and by the way, let me congratulate all of you, me-tv team, as I think me-tv is simply the best tv app out there for Ubuntu, simple & clean. Thanks for your hard work ;)
