Some missunderstandings in documentation
http://www.conan.de/touchscreen/evtouch.html it says

SwapX and SwapY
This option is in the driver since V0.61. When set to 1 the X-axis is swapped. This option is applied BEFORE the rotation-option.

false -- no swapping

but <merge key="input.x11_options.swapy" type="bool">true</merge> is
wrong and did not work,

Works fine for me:

<merge key="input.x11_options.SwapY" type="string">1</merge>


i saw many people out there having the wrong config - (and of course)
trouble with swapx or swapy in xf86-input-evtouch

so allowing both configuration will help many people
