This bug was fixed in the package gcx - 1.1-1

gcx (1.1-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (LP: #86143)
    - fixed a typo in help -> about (waranty/warranty)
    - forced the x11 terminal in gnuplot calls (instead the default wxt)
    (patches committed in upstream cvs)
  * Lintian: hyphen-used-as-minus-sign, package-contains-empty-directory
  * Removed Vcs-* fields from debian/control, as they are not meant to
    contain the upstream repository
  * Bumped standard version to 3.8.0
    - updated DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS support to debian/rules
