[Bug 368376] [NEW] FUSA disagrees with Pidgin status when Pidgin is first started

Public bug reported:

FUSA version 2.24.0
Pidgin version 2.5.5
Ubuntu 9.04, upgraded from 8.10, upgraded from 8.04

What happens: When Pidgin is first started, FUSA displays the incorrect
status.  It always indicates that I am offline, while Pidgin displays
the correct status.  If I change my status, FUSA functions normally

What should happen: FUSA should get my status right the first time.

I'm new at reporting bugs, so if there is anymore information I can
provide I would be happy to do so.
