Thanks for the reply Zack.

Definitelly UXA is guilty. I tried to apply this solution
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1130582) but still UXA
(according to this how-to I have enabled UXA in xorg) causes crashes
with green stripes, glitches, etc.

So, I'm thinking whether it would not better to switch back to an older
xorg or something, cause it looks like my laptop is alergic to UXA for
some unknown reason.

I hoped that this how-to wwould help, and I suspect it would, were it
not for that critical crash that occured yesterday.

Should you have any ideas, please post them, meanwhile I'll take a look
around.
