Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lightning-extension

Distribution:
Ubuntu 8.10

Version of Package:
Installed: 0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu1

after opening the Calendar to update and view my events, I could not change the week, the day or the month, and there was no functionality whatsoever in my calendars.
when switching back and forth from thunderbird to lightning each time I opened the calendar, my Calendars multiplied
(see screenshot attached)

I would not like to loose my events and dates that I have added
carefully. So I am afraid of de-installation or re-installation.
