Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz
I'm not sure if this is a compiz or ati driver problem; however, it
didn't happen before. It's perfectly predictable and reproducable:
minimize window, click in task bar to reopen it. Then you have to wait
1-2 secs before the window gets back. Even with animations disabled,
this still happens. Using metacity there is no wait at all.
I believe I found a topic about this on the ubuntu forums, containing
complaints not only from ati users but also from nvidia users.
