Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: toga2
Don't know if there is a lot of support here for toga2 but if you go to
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/i386/toga2/ then you see two
versions of toga2, 1.3.4 and 1.4.1. The latest build 1.4.1 is the jaunty
build and it's broken. I know at least one serious bug in there:
use it as engine in scid 3.7.1 (which has UCI support) and the "Multiple
Variations" option is broken. You can adjust the number of variations
that you want displayed but it will never show more than one single
variation in the analysis tab. This problem shows up in 1.4.1 but it
worked correctly in 1.3.4.
I don't think there is a lot of difference in playing strength between
1.3.4 and 1.4.1, so I would suggest to take 1.4.1 out of the repos and
downgrade them to 1.3.4.
** Affects: toga2 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Description changed:
