Ok my bug maybe not exactly the same as I am not using a mini mac. Just
upgraded to 9.04 with a network upgrade and on rebooting I get exactly
the same response as the OP however on further investigation I find that
using my Microsoft keyboard which has a special key for mail when
pressed Thunderbird pops up and when I click on links in emails Firefox
pops up. What appears to be happening is that the background is in the
foreground but apart from that the computer is running fine. Any ideas
how to resolve this..
