[Bug 354628] [NEW] Scorched3d crashes computer on startup

Scorched3d hangs my computer on startup (when I tell it to actually
start the game).  The mouse, keyboard, etc. are not responsive.

I was able to ssh into my computer from another computer while it was
hung, but it did not respond to a reboot request and I ultimately had to
kill power.
