Please be patient. We think we know how to fix the error, we're working
on a fix. Remember, this is exactly why betas exist. We (the Awn
developers) believe that this version is a significant improvement to
the version that was in Ubuntu Intrepid, which is why we advocated its
inclusion into Jaunty.

(Note: I am an Awn developer, not an Ubuntu or Mozilla developer.) I'd
suggest filing a new bug under the Firefox and Thunderbird packages,
respectively. However, I doubt this request will be honored, as it will
horribly break the Ubuntu feature freeze currently in place (there are
significant changes between 3.0 and whatever the next major release
version the respective package will have), not to mention that the
Mozilla developers consider the respective versions to be still in beta.
