Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

[West Lake] Ubuntu 8.10: Resolution downgraded to 800*600 after resuming
from suspend then Log Out.

Steps to Replicate:
1. Power on the system and boot to the Ubuntu OS.
2. Enter correct username and password to login the system.
3. Put the system to suspend for 30 seconds.
4. Wake the system from suspend then go to [System --> Log Out user --> Log Out].
5. Observe the phenomenon occurred. (i.e. - Graphic resolution switched to 800*600)

Expected Result: Resolution should not downgraded to 800*600 after
resuming from suspend then Log Out.
