Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I have a dell 2000FP monitor that has a native resolution of 1600x1200.
It has always worked in Ubuntu, correctly displaying the 1600x1200 @
60Hz mode. That is until yesterday when I installed the
2:2.4.1-1ubuntu10.4 version of xserver-xorg-video-intel. I have this
monitor connected to work laptop at the moment (Dell Latitude D630) on
the VGA output.

Now this is my xrandr output:

   800x600 60.3
   640x480 59.9

As you can see, 1600x1200 is missing

I will attempt to find the previous version of the driver and install it as this will not work at all for me.

FYI, I tried "ubuntu-bug -p xserver-xorg-video-intel", but it fails with a not implemented exception and this is printed to the console:
Error: Cannot open display ":0 -"
                  Exiting

This is on Ubuntu Intrepid
