First School to sign up on UBUNTU

Hahaha... I laugh because we're upgrading the Gateway School ubuntu
servers this morning to 9.04 :-)

The project was not with Troycom, I did the full implementation of
the project - working with Rudolf of-course - on be-half of e-Tek at
the time. The original Thin-client server was on Mandrake/Mandriva
Linux with a custom compiled KDE desktop, and we later migrated it to
Kubuntu. We're still supporting the setup and have also done
Lomagundi College too. Thats at-least 2 schools on (k)ubuntu - the
company e-Tek has also since morphed into Melivo Business Systems
still a thin-client company, yet focus on software development & linux
solutions
