Hi Hilton,

Unfortunately not many discussions have taken place on the mailing list
with regard to open source in education. The mailing list has in fact been
rather "dead" in recent months, partly I think because everyone in Zim is
preoccupied with trying to "survive" the economy at the moment.

With regard to the open ICDL plans, we are also still in the very early
stages of discussion. The plan was for Richard, as the project leader, to
establish a thread on the Zim Ubuntu forum (zimbabwe.ubuntuforums.org) so
that we could take our plans and ideas public and get community feedback
and contributions. Unfortunately I think Richard has been away quite a bit
so probably hasn't had a chance to do this yet.
