yeah a hierarchy should work fine, for kicks you can through in a couple of
squids in between too :)
I find running a local squid server that I direct all my traffic through is
the best proxy switcher (one place to change proxies) and especially since
not all apps support authentication proxies that well.

Not saying I want to do it, but there were situations where I considered it.
