Subject: [ubuntu-za] Unable to delete folder from external HDD

Morning everyone ,

I'm having difficulty to remove a specific folder from my external HDD.
It gives read errors during rsync's and that causes issues to me. It doesn't
have anything important so I need to remove it.

However , in Nautilus it gives the error that I can't remove it as the
directory isn't empty.
But there is nothing in the folder.
gksudo nautilus gives the same error.
I also tried in cli sudo rm -fvr * but also same error.

I don't understand why I can't delete this folder. It's an NTFS drive so
permissions should even be a problem , and I used two different sudo options
that should have gone past that if it was.

All other folders on the same drive I can delete without an issue. Just this
1 specific one.

Can you guys give me any other ideas how to get this troublesome folder
removed please.

Thanx

Ubuntu 12.04 64bit.
