[ubuntu-za] Ubuntu / Linux Mint 32-bit vs 64-bit

Hi Guys

I was just wondering whether anyone has compared the performance of the
32-bit and 64-bit variants of Ubuntu or Linux Mint?  Is 64-bit much better
(performance, or otherwise) on 64-bit hardware?
