Hi Guys

Excuse me for jumping in here, this thread sounds  very confusing, I
gather we have eventually discovered the printer is connected via
Network, Great, Firstly, I would enter the printers menu, and change
the address to DHCP, RTFM for it. next do a print out on the printer
to establish the IP it received.

Then from printer configurator on the ubuntu box, enter the ip when
requested to poll that IP, and it will be found,
