Great Nico.

I also just figured out my problem... actually I emailed the author (Graham
Inggs) of the PPA and he helped.
'iwconfig ib0' will show Signal Level:0 if the ib0 interface is not up,
meaning 'pon dsl-provider' won't connect.

You have to then explicity bring the ib0 interface up with
'sudo ifconfig ib0 up' before 'pon dsl-provider' will connect.

I've updated the Iburst wiki:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Iburst
with all this info.

He also informs me that...
"PPPoE support for wireless devices in NetworkManager is coming...
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=446338"
... so hopefully we'll have this integrated with the Network Manager soon.

Now I just want to get the device to automatically connect when plugged in,
so you wan't need any scripts.
I had this working previously. Will post back with howto.

Regards
