Lubuntu is nice, but a bit basic. I am thinking of using it on one of
my very old machines, but meanwhile I don't see the need for it in my
shop.
The fact that Gnome-classic is still there is encouraging - but I do
want to go to Unity when I am happy with it. Perhaps i will not need
Xubuntu - but Xubuntu does have some nice features that I enjoy and
will be happy to stay with in the short term.

Absolutely no, never. That would be for the new Zubuntu distribution
that I am planning on funding when I win the lottery. (Note to self -
remember to buy a ticket).
Meanwhile, Ubuntu being an Nguni word, I am sure that Xubuntu must
have a good click and I at least will continue to pronounce it that
way!
