Hi Jan
Do you get an error message when you open VirtualBox or just nothing?
Can you open a terminal and run these commands, then copy and paste
the output here? The first command will simply list relevant
VirtualBox files/folders in your home directory and the second command
will attempt to run VirtualBox but any background errors should be
displayed in the terminal.
ls -l ~/*VirtualBox* ~/.*Virtual*
VirtualBox
Regards
Tom
PS. VMware is an alternative to VirtualBox although mostly closed
source and not free (as in $)
