Does the web book have additional SD card slots? I remember my Acer
netbook had two additional SD card slots. Booting from a CD ROM I could
select where to install the OS; on the internal flash or my external SD
card. This allowed me to have a dual boot configuration and keep the
old OS until I was certain it would work on the my netbook. It might
work here as well.

Alternatively, try adding an external hard drive and installing it on there.
