Text-based media, like e-mails, convey no tone or emotion. I was not being
sarcastic, nor trying to be unhelpful, I was simply telling you what I
perceive to be the two main categories of reasons for not replying to an
e-mail.

Funnily enough, when I went and looked at the results, most of the
suggested solutions were what the two other guys who replied to you
suggested.
