Hi All,

Note : I do not work for Jumping Bean, FOSSFA or InWEnt, I find this worth sharing

Quote from link above
The training was a success with 75% of the 16 students that attempted the exam passing the LPI exam and becoming certified Linux professionals! For many this is a confirmation of their existing skills and years of experience but the certification enables them to roll out trainings and to provide proof of their skills to their customers. The second leg of the programme requires the attendees to draw up plans for rolling out trainings in their own countries. It is hoped that the domino effect will result in an exponential growth in trained Linux professionals across Africa and result in the greater adoption of FOSS in business and government across Africa.

The ict at innovation initiative is a programme of the Free and Open Source Foundation for Africa and is sponsored by GIZ, a Germany government sustainable development organisation."
