[ubuntu-za] nvidia geforce and radeon graphic cards

Good day,

I have tested today different laptops makes at different suppliers in 
Pretoria.
Live cd x86_64 ubuntu 11.04.  Fedora x86_64 f15.

For both cd's the nvidia card seem to handle the graphics better than 
radeon.

I have never seen this before due 2D sis card on my laptop.

I am interested in buying a new laptop, any suggestions please.
