[ubuntu-za] VIruses!!

I've just been told by Firefox that I have 98 effected files attacked
by about 10/15 different Trojans and others! That I should click the
"start protection" which I did and then I have to download a small
something which shows : installsecuritycentre---.exe  -  can that be
right? every click brings another instasllsecuritycentre---.exe? I've
requested aBitdefender for Jaunty 9.04 and am awaiting an email. Is
this the right thing to do?
