I actually worked for Compaq in Houston way back in the day...  And 
Intel has warranted OEM parts for me, as an individual.  Not to mention 
the built in thermal shutdown protection, and more.  I just find the 
minor savings to be a false economy.  And I remember when a company 
tries to screw me for a long time!
