[ubuntu-za] Blank screen after update.

  Hi

I have updated My computer (Ubuntu 10.04 64bit)
 From kernel 2.6.32.23 to 2.6.32.24.( i hope that is correct, i'm only 
realy sure about the last two digits)
On boot up the system stops resonding as soon as Grub start to load the 
system and
I end with a blank screen and no HDD activity, CRTL+ALT+DEL works.

I used a Live-disc and edited out the new kernel entries and now the 
system boots.
But with low graphics as my graphics drivers updated as well. that I can 
fix though.

What i wabt to know is should i trie and update the kernel again and see 
if that fix
the problem, or are there some other options i can try to fix the problem.
